A different Learning Environment
DIMS is committed to creating a learning environment where students are able to explore their individual passions, to think creatively, to innovate and to achieve wellbeing in their lives. The development of our students is aided by an aesthetically pleasing environment that is both stimulating and inspiring. Spending a large part of their active day at school, school is a place where children feel safe, at home, and have a sense of ownership. This feeling is achieved by working in beautiful, unique buildings renovated for this very purpose. The environments themselves help in the development of the child. Children love where they are, learn to look after it, take care of the others within it, and meet their own needs. Thereby, forming the basis of a harmonious and resilient personality.
Our classrooms are carefully prepared to stimulate children’s independence and intellectual development. You will not find rows of desks, even at the secondary school level; instead, the rooms are set up to facilitate discussions and stimulate collaborative learning. At the Early Childhood and Elementary levels, students will typically be found scattered around the classroom, working alone or with two others. At the Secondary level, many classes will involve seminar discussions, individual research, thoughtful writing, and field experience. The learning environments of the secondary students are expansive and furnished with a combination of modern furniture, art and antiques. They have space to move both inside and outside. In addition to the large classroom spaces, students have access to the library, music rooms, makerspace and science laboratory.
Classrooms
Our campus is immersed in the green hub, providing constant opportunities to experience the impact that we have on our environment. To build an appreciation of sustainability, our students start small by thinking locally, they reacquaint themselves with the environment and rebuild their symbiotic relationship with it. Day-by-day, our community develops a strong bond with nature.
By making it part of who we are, we feel inclined to nourish it, compelled to respect it and empowered to care for it now and forever. Students have farming class weekly on a seasonal rotation. Using level appropriate tools and methods they make an in depth exploration of the parts, functions and families of plants through seed saving, planting and transplanting in outdoor raised beds.

Inspiring Young Innovators
At DIMS, our Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre is a vibrant space where students turn ideas into real-world solutions. Designed to spark creativity and critical thinking, the Centre equips students with the tools, mentorship, and technology—like robotics, AI, and IoT—to explore, create, and innovate.
We empower students to develop entrepreneurial mindsets, solve real problems, and bring their visions to life through hands-on, future-ready learning.
Service Learning
Servicing learning is a key part of the excellent educational experience offered at Dove International Montessori School. As an IB and Montessori school, our programmes are designed to develop young people who will create a better and more peaceful world.
In MYP, service and action opportunities are embedded in the curriculum through the units of inquiry. Students are encouraged to build on these service initiatives and get involved in different community projects outside of school.
Trips and Visits
Learning at our school extends beyond the classroom. Through carefully planned trips and visits, students make real-world connections, broaden their perspectives, and grow in confidence.
In Montessori Elementary, students participate in “Going Out”. These are small, purposeful outings initiated by the children themselves and connected to their classroom learning. These experiences promote independence, responsibility, and deeper engagement with the world around them.
In the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP), trips are tied to the curriculum and global contexts. Whether it’s a science visit, cultural outing, or service project, students apply their learning, strengthen key skills, and gain a better understanding of their role in the wider world.

We make a Difference
Each DIMS student follows a unique and powerful journey—whether through academics, service-learning, environmental advocacy, or athletic achievements.
